Tasty hazy offering from Loose Screw, on tap, milky orange pour with a strong opacity. Smooth, almost light grain flavors do little to offset a thick dose of juicy citrus and a smattering of effervescent tropical fruits. Not chalky but definitely hopped to the gills with a slight sense of astringency, not too much bitterness.

nice hop profile here but somewhat of a messy beer, the heaviest and densest drinking of the many hoppy ones i had here recently, almost beginning or end of a keg vibes, its not got visible sediment but it does really sit in the belly, its a slower one, but the hops are in contrast very bright, this is a little refinement away from being great, but its neat to see so many beers, and so much recent rotation here, the pace of innovation means this will likely keep improving, and i will look forward to that. for now its sloppy looking pale orange with a high airy white head but enough density to be a little yucky. the nose is candied orange, ripe mango, and juicy peach, summery all the way and obviously very fresh, light bitterness but it seems maybe only from being a bit over hopped, green but without being harsh, and that is true in the flavor too, which leads with orange and tangerine but has wrinkles of green pear and sweet white wine, before a more generically tropical back end that turns vegetal as it warms, long on the palate. the malt isnt all that flavorful, which makes me wonder why its here to such a high degree, its not like this has some kind of interesting grain balance, it doesnt, so it has me wishing for a lighter and cleaner mouthfeel, like its just overly hazy for the sake of it, but perhaps i am being too critical. they seem to be proud of this and people seem to be liking it, so thats cool. the hop profile is the best part, as it should be in this style, but the rest of the beer leaves a little bit to be desired and sort of still comes across as a work in progress to me as far as overall quality goes, but everything here now is leagues better than it used to be, so they are settling in nicely to their awesome new spot!
