Draft at Loose Screw. Foggy golden pour, small, wispy white foamy head. Tropical, fruity aroma. Taste is a lot of guava and mango, with little bits of pineapple and melon

pretty nice ipa here, fresh and fruity, still quite bitter, light enough on the grain side to be summery, simple in a good way, possibly some southern hemisphere hops in place. off from full clarity, the lightest orange, frothy creamed up white head looks nice on top. nose of cut oranges, fresh flowers in bloom, cantaloupe, maybe dried peach or mango, layers of fruitiness thats compatible and good, some bitterness too, maybe ever so slightly metallic, more so as it warms up, but pleasant overall. the flavor is a touch less dynamic than the nose in that it all kind of hits at once, including the bitterness, its not all late, so some of the fruit flow from the nose is lost, but it cannot be denied that this is well hopped, more melon, mandarin oranges, a little rind and pith, spice and grass too with the bitterness, a bit more conventional at the end, still a peach note and light grain sweetness pushing that. good carbonation in this, medium bodied, somewhat summery, quite robust too though, perhaps ever so slightly weird in the ferment, but this is good. nice to see a whole mess of new beers from these guys in recent weeks, great selection at their downtown meridian location right not, mix of stuff too, something for every mood. a plethora of fun hoppy stuff happening at the moment.
