not super hazy, this one just looks more unfiltered than super starchy and dense, they had some thicker ones working for sure, and i think this is a nice change of pace from that, especially for summer, a little easier down, still really hoppy and bold, just without some of the grain heft, a pint beer for sure, not as distinct as i maybe expected for a rotating project that might permit some experimental stuff, but its good anyway. very light orange tinted and just frosted to me under an inch of lathery white head from the tap at the downtown meridian brewery, such a rad spot! the nose is peachy, but like peach candy, some orange peel, and modest bitterness shows, but with some softly sweet grain balance and nuances of mango and generic tropical fruit, a fine hop complexion, somewhat familiar and all, maybe just a little bit of fermentation weirdness, but its fresh and appealing. the flavor is peachy too, again riding a little sweetness through much of it, but its also relatively bitter, good back and forth there and very complete spectrum hop profile. some copper type minerality here, a light honey thing, some proofing dough character to the yeast, not as tidy late as it could be, but not sloppy either, peach ring candy, cantaloupe, dehydrated mango. this one sort of splits the difference between a traditional hazy and a modern west coast, should appeal to all types of ipa drinkers...
