a gorgeous hazy ipa here, done i would think with the pink boots hop blend this year, really well done beer, their ipa types have been on the up and up, and this one is really juicy, bright, and modern, among the best i had in here this weekend, super dialed in, great hop complexion, not too heavy to drink several of. pale orange juice colored brew with a lathered up inch of white head, uniformly quite hazy but also bubbly and bright in the glass. aroma of ripe red fruits, sweet citrus, and mango and pineapple juice, almost orange julius vibes, summery all the way, with just a bit of dry grain balance to it, warming to lemongrass, tangerine, and peach candy, so fresh too, awesome nose. the flavor follows in a nice wash of ripe strawberries, mangoes, and sliced oranges, some perceived sweetness accentuating the fruitiness, but its not cloying, its not even actually sweet on the palate, it just kind of seems like it is, if that makes sense, no dankness and very low bitterness here, this is all the juicy side of the hops, really appealing, long flavor climax, warms up really well, a pineapple note at the end, wheaty to me on the grain side, soft feeling, lively, excited even, excellent hazy overall, one of their best to date for my money. this is an excellent hop blend, to me somewhat more profound than in previous years, although credit is due to the brewery too for getting the most out of the blend, assuming thats what this is. a beauty! get some before its gone!
