Poured from a can at home: Batch #1 (Feb 2021) is a Munich Helles lager, 5.5%abv.
Looks crystal clear gold with a dense white head that fades to a few scattered bits.
Smells of bready malts and spicy hops.
Tastes great, crisp malts, fresh white bread, layered with herbal spicy hops.
Feels light but with substantial depth, crisp edges and lively carbonation.
Overall a solid Helles lager!
Great to enjoy on its own or beside some delicious food from the brewpub.
I'll look forward to trying later iterations as it will be a rotating recipe.
