Very cloudy, dark gold colored body. Three fingers of off white colored meringue head, and this collapses to a partial cap and a high ring. Leaves behind raised webs of lacing.
Aroma is pungent and dank with pine resin, orange, and grapefruit.
Taste is semisweet blood orange and dank pine resin. Goes to dry dank resin in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel, with a very soft texture. Very drying at the end, with an astringent sensation. Medium bitterness level. Very good carbonation.
This beer has a high level of tannins.
