16 oz can
Pours dark reddish brown, clear when held to light, with a wisp of white head retaining.
Aroma of biscuit and caramel, hint of cocoa and pecan.
Flavor is of biscuit and caramel, light nutty aftertaste.
Thin body with a light tingle of carbonation on the tongue.
This beer is very easy drinking and smooth. Very nice aroma. The flavor is good but not very strong, although it starts to come through a bit more as it warms. Body is very thin and low carbonation, not sure if this is a stylistic effort to imitate a cask experience or if I got a wonky can. It's not bad but I would have preferred more body. Overall this beer is fine and honestly quite sessionable because of a good flavor profile and low ABV. It's just not something I would go out of my way to get again.
