Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival a 1 finger, fine, bone white head was present that eventually receded to a thin covering but still with nice lacing. The body is a straw yellow with a very slight haze, but it's nearly clear. Very light carbonation.
Aroma is light but grainy with a slight crackery bread aroma from light barley amd a slightly spicy hop note that brightens and balances things nicely.
Taste follows the aroma but is full bodied. Very nice with a big wave of noble hop bitterness as well as a biscuity more than crackery malt that is present throughout. The hops are spicy and citrusy in flavor, while staying very drinkable with a very light honey sweetness.
Feel is nice and refreshing with an overall dry feel, but a nice and malty fullness. Attenuated and not syrupy while letting you know it's here. Carbonation comes back despite it not being visible and is actually pretty effervescent and fine.
Overall this is a pretty legit helles. Refreshing, bright, biscuity verging on crackery, with a touch of bitterness and sweetness. Very tasty.
