Cloudy, light amber color. Twice poured due to the foam on the glass. It settles quickly to film and rim bubbles. Wide streaks for lace.
Mild but balanced aroma. Predictable pale malt with some weedy hop bite.
The taste is less balanced with malt presence being very brief. The hop which never overwhelms, absolutely dominates the finish and long aftertaste. Fuller body matches the higher carbonation. There’s alcohol a yeast bite that I noticed after the swallow.

Taster in flight at Clarion River. Cloudy brass colored pour, skimpy white head. Aroma is woody, hoppy, earthy. Taste is carried in with a slick oily feel, earthy hops and a dry bitterness. Not too bitter but a nice slick mouthfeel.

I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter fruit peel flare. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.
