This review is based on the nitro version being served. I was served an all-foam head filling the glass. The upward cascading fine bubbles slowly condensed into a one-finger dense head. This leaves a web of lace on the glass. The liquid idea lighter brown and is crystal clear.
The aroma is a mild combination of white toast and dry caramel.
Rich body from the finer “carbonation”. There’s a rich deeply toasted bread flavor with a finish that brings forward faint burnt malt. Some cream. Moderate malty aftertaste. Overall, this is a winning combination that falls between some categories like a Porter and Brown Ale.

I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear amber with very thin white ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had grain and malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt and grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.
