I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear dark amber with no head and no lace. The scent had sweet malt and hints of molasses notes. The taste was ABV blast and not easy to drink with malt forward character and bold sweet presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was not a beer I could finish....even as a sampler.
