Having this beer on-tap at the brewpub on peach Street in Erie, PA. This beer draws a fairly cloudy/hazy medium golden/copper color with a nice white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles eventually to a nice film layer of surface foam along with a fairly thick white ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface and some good lacing. Aromas of some bready malts and wheat along with some raspberry. Has a similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned bready malts and wheat that gives way to some raspberry tart that provides a bit of sourness along with some yeasty esters. No hop flavors to be found at all here, and that is not at all unexpected. Has a crisp, also smooth, somewhat frothy, medium bodied mouth filled with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and all the flavors linger nicely in the aftertaste. A nice beer all around here.
