Having this beer on-tap at the brewpub on Peach Street in Erie, PA. Served in a snifter glass, this beer draws a clear, medium golden/light copper color with a white head that’s about half an inch thick when first and drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass with some excellent film layer surface foam and good lacing. Aromas of lightly toasted, bready malts with some caramel sweetness and toffee along with an earthy hop note. Ever similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned toasted bready and caramel malt sweetness along with a bit of toffee and some earthy hop bitterness notes. Good balance of flavors. Has a crisp, also smooth, medium body mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, slightly dry finish. All of the flavors linger mostly on my palate in the aftertaste. A nice beer all around here but I am glad I had a chance to try.
