Pours a dark ruby with thick, soapy head.
Smell is very sweet with notes of malt, strawberry jam and butterscotch.
Taste is sweet and malty but with a pretty substantial bitterness. Notes of strawberry jam, butterscotch and some grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a DIPA that takes me back to the first Swedish ones, where the malt was the star of the show instead of the hops.
