Poured into a Stone Gargoyle flute. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and slippery lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and mixed fruit hops, lemon, vague mixed tropical fruit and a hint of dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and mixed fruit hops, over-ripe tropical fruit, particularly mango, hints of pineapple and orange. Good finishing bitterness with a little dankness. An unassuming, but good IPA, not a traditional West Coast IPA, but adheres to the new definition of the style that includes mixed fruit from Mosaic and other fruit forward hops. Citrus fruit is present, but subdued. The fruit mix is interesting.
