Imperial Baltic Porter.
Welcome to the shadows... Dense, dark, with toasted and malty notes, cocoa, strong espresso, and candied fruit. The alcohol warms things up just the right amount and gives it the necessary depth. Much more effective than a bouquet of apologies, with this, you're forgiven before you even open your mouth.
Malt(s) : Pilsner (DE) / Munich (DE) / Brown Malt (UK) / Caramunich (DE) / Carafa (DE) / Avoine (UK)
Hop(s) : Saaz (CZ)
Yeast : German Lager (DE)

Copenhagen 20/2 2026. 44 cl can from Hos Rune Bottle shop, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Dark purple can with a yellow flower.
Pours opaque dar brown with mid-sized light beige head. Settles as thin patches of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with alight sweet and malty odor mingling with a stronger earthy and sourish scent. Sweet dark and roasted malts. Hints of brown sugar. Leather and linoleum. Old apartment. Sourish grains.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily and viscous texture. Creamy, almost flat.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pleasant sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry with a sweet touch.
A dark flower indeed.
