33 cl can poured lightly chilled into a taster’s glass in Toulouse, France. Not much head on deep brown brew. Nose is cognac, wood, some molasses, dark chocolate, tobacco. Tastes fantastic! 2 years in Cognac barrels makes for a deeply entrenched flavor that straddles the line between beer and cocktail. It also keeps the sweetness at bay. Long lasting and mouthwatering sips. Full mouthfeel, but not thick. Overall, a tremendous success at bringing beer to the French liquor and wine drinking community.
