December 2016: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Golden colour, white head. Pleasant spicy aroma. Nice spicy and hoppy flavour too, enjoyable. Might sample again.

Large, 3/4 of the glass initial head. It recedes slowly in a rocky fashion. A few minor spots are left on the glass as the head goes down. The liquid is dirty gold and hazy.
The smell features a well-blended lightly caramelized malt and fragrant floral hop. Inviting.
The taste is dryer than the smell suggests with malt start being closer to a lightly malted barley. There's notable yeast bite on the tongue before any hop bitterness shows up. The body leans rich with a slightly elevated carbonation level. The aftertaste is a blend of the yeast and hop bitterness. The taste is not as well-blended as the smell--a bit of a let down.
