We got a whole bunch of Plums from a moral producer and decided to try something different (for us). It is a sour ale, but different from any we have made so far. The Plum flavor is subtle despite the quantity that went into it. The body and the sourness are "fuller" than our other sour ales. The name? Yeah, it's dumb. Kind of a dad joke. But beer is supposed to be fun, right?

Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Cloudy, deep gold colored body. White foamy head. Leaves behind spots and strings of lacing.
Aroma of plum and lactose.
Taste is tart and fruity. Flavors of plum, lemon, and lactose. Aftertaste fades quickly.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean finish. Good carbonation.
Good use of plum fruit in a sour.
