Smaller, clean and well lit place, stand alone and smaller spot, with a large and inviting outdoor seating area, during temperate weather. (it was over 110 when we visited)
Pleasant bartender, full of smiles and info. A bunch of their own well crafted and interesting offerings, available on tap and some in cans to go. I loved their flagship warrior hazy IPA, mighty fine and nuanced.

Very fresh and artsy brewery tucked away right on roosevelt row. Great stop while the wife shops! Standard brewery selection, leans hoppier but barley. Bartender didn't really know much about the beers on tap, but she was friendly when she wasn't on her phone so there is that. Beers are good for hot days, which I guess is most of the time in AZ, but wouldn't be one I would make a regular visit outside of the convenient location

Freestanding building on the main drag downtown with outdoor patios on both sides of the building. Narrow taproom runs parallel to the sidewalk with a straight bar opposite the entrance that seats about a dozen. 10 beers on tap, the IPA I had was solid. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender, single cans to go.

My wife and I visited Greenwood Brewing earlier this week while in town. They have a huge outdoor patio with misters - a welcome feature in Phoenix. The taproom itself is quite small; almost every customer was out on the patio. The bartenders offered quick and friendly service up at the bar.
As for beer, the light hazy IPA and the Warrior Hazy IPA were both damn good; the light one especially delivered a lot of flavor for its lower ABV. The Belgian tripel was just alright, but I was glad to see they had such an atypical style on the menu. They had 11 beers when I visited: six on their "flagship" menu and five on their "experimental" menu, representing an interesting array of styles; if I ever make it back to Phoenix I'll definitely come back to Greenwood to sample more of their offerings. Definitely recommend!
