Made with Avalon pale malt from Riverbend Malt House, French Mistral and Triskel hops. Fermented and lagered in our acacia wood foudre.

Appearance: Pours clear and golden colored with a two-finger head; strong retention and webs of lacing

Smell: Smells a bit like a hefe, with a subtle banana tone; the Acacia wood brings a honeyed element, as well

Taste: Fruity, up front, with banana and melon tones as well as a bit of toffee in the mix; woody, through the middle, with a modest bitterness

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I don't think I have had a French Lager before so I have nothing to compare this with; I do know that I like it
