Picked up a 500 ml bottle from the Cellarest West Asheville taproom 8/4/25 for $18.90. Brewed January 2024; bottled April 2025; consumed 2-4-26.
Beer poured pale orange with a nice white head that is sustaining well.
Nose has notes of funk, barnyard, horse blanket, and leather.
Taste follows the nose as there is a subtle cherry tone that is funky, a bit puckering, and some leather. F
Mouthfeel is medium bodied but with a very light effervescent smoothness.
Overall, this is outstanding. Pick it up if it is still available and you like the wild side of beer!

On tap at Cellarist. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of oak, funkiness, yeast and sweet caramel. Great tart and funky taste with caramel and a hints of oak.
