Made from a base of Riverbends Cumberland Pilsner, dark and double-kilned Munich & Epiphanys black wheat. Step-mashed and hopped with Czech-grown Saaz hops. Fermented with our preferred German lager yeast before being rested cold in our oak puncheons for four months.

Appearance: Clear brown with a mousse-like khaki colored head with excellent retention.
Aroma: Roasted, caramel, and chocolate malt
Flavor: Roasted, caramel, and chocolate malt with oak wood. Spicy/herbal hops. Drying. Low bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Drying.
Overall: Fantastic beer. Pours beautifully with a nice mousse-like, khaki colored head that sticks around for the whole ride. It's roasty and chocolatey without burnt or harsh dark malt flavors. Oak wood doesn't come across in the aroma but does in the flavor. Drinks deceptively light. Once again, Cellarest build on a well crafted base beer and adds some old world character with the oak wood resting. Highly recommend this one.
