On tap. Pours golden with white head. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Herbal hops, bready malt and some citrus fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Good brew.

Pint on draught at the brewery. Served in a pint glass. It pours a slightly hazy, golden-straw color with orange hues, and a full finger of bright white, fluffy head and soapy lacing. An attractive draught pour. The smell features lemon peel, grapefruit, cracker malt, and subtle but noticeable floral hops. The taste opens with crisp bitterness. There is tart lemon and bitter grapefruit. As the glass warms a bit there is increasing malt sweetness and notes of toasted dry bread. The finish is noticeably hoppy. This ale is crisp and lite with an appropriate level of carbonation, and at 5.6% ABV it's very drinkable. Overall, this ale is an impressive opening salvo from a new brewery. I understand that they've been working on this recipe for quite awhile and it shows in the attention to detail. It's highly flavorful and very drinkable. An excellent candidate for canning.
