A beautifully crafted, dual hopped double IPA with a tamed Citra Mosaic profile and leaves a smooth back and finish.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a clear, bright gold color with minimal head or lacing. Its smell reflects the classic Citra and Mosaic hop bill with lemon, grapefruit, onion, berry, and floral hops. The taste follows with tart lemon and grapefruit but the big red berry presence adds balancing sweetness. The Mosaic hops shine. There is modest, clean bitterness throughout. This ale has a crisp, fairly lite mouth feel with lively carbonation, and it drinks below its 7.4% ABV. While it's not quite crushable, it drinks very easily. Lewis Morris Exploration DIPA is a bigger version of the brewery's APA of the same name but with a different hop bill. It's a basic recipe, well-executed; simple but with lots of flavor and highly drinkable for its gravity.
