33cl green bottle, best before January 2012. This is an organic pilsner brewed for the »Premium« brand of Hamburg (http://www.premium-cola.de/premium-bier/).
Pours a very pale and effervescent yellow-gold. The head is foamy and short-lived, but laces very nicely.
The aroma is excellent, very German-hoppy and dank at first, though this develops into a fresher herbal character.
The flavor is a bit thin for a pils, and I was expecting a lot more based on the aroma. There's some good grassy hop notes and decent grainy malt flavor, but overall this beer comes off as lacking something. Nothing wrong with it, however, and it's refreshing, with a nice bitter finish.
I give this beer props for being organic, but in the end, the results aren't anything special.
