Bottle says "best consumed within four months after bottling" and "to be consumed within 12 months". The beer was bottled on 14.05.2020, oops... IBU 28
Beer is a pale yellow/orange at first, but the bottom of the bottle contains some London pea soup fogging the beer over. In the and it's more of a hazy rust/copper orange.
Head was enormous at the first pour, filled the glass. Had to take it in steps to empty the bottle. Colour is off-white with a brownish hue.
Sent is ashtray with some tropical fruit sourness and tangy bitterness.
Flavour gives a lot of belgian yeast. Bready with hints of the pomelo, sour and slightly astringent
Aftertaste is richer, more of the pomelo is unveiled, lots of that tripple Belgian yeast dominating, bitter hops in the background and caramel sweet malts.
Mouthfeel is thin, slightly sweet and sticky in the back, becomes much drier in the aftertaste.
The beer is generous in flavour and complexity. Much heavier than I expected. More Tripple dan IPA, but with distinct IPA characteristics. I want to love this, but my completely subjective dislike for Belgian tripples inhibits me from doing so.
