Copenhagen 12/6 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb,.F. Green label in Frederikshavn Brewery's usual design. This time in a green version with silhouettes of ancient cannons and the little logo of around church.
Pours unclear pale yellow with mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles thin, flimsy, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides og the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and vaguely fruity odor mingling with a sharp fresh scent. Sweet pale malts, caramel and with hint of sweet toffee. Fresh grass and a bit of citrus and lemon.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, bit greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is mildly bitter with a undetone of sweet toffee. Finish is rather dry.
Sweet but more than descent take on a Pilsner.
