Copenhagen 5/8 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Kbh. Ø. Yellow label in Frederikshavn's usual design this time with a silhouette in white of a deer and a tree.
Pours slightly unclear yellowish a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a malty sweet odor mingling with a sharp citric scent. Sweet pale malts and caramel. Lemon and citrus. Floral touch.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a gentle sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
More than decent and refreshing Indian Pale Ale.
