Copenhagen 27/7 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Industrivej, Løkken. Frederikshavn's usual label design and a brown variation of the normal Keine Hexerei label with a Rum barrel thrown in for good measure.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary, sweet odor brimming with sugar, licorice and alcohol. Very sweet, rich and with a pronounced scent of dark alcohol, Brown sugar, toffee and raisins. Licorice and dark Rum.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, a bit sticky, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and soaked sweet, dark Rum. Lingering. Finish is a boozy with a light burn.
Quite close to the whisky BA - but a bit rounder.
