Copenhagen 22/4 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from BerrShoppen web-shop. Frederikshavn's usual labeldesign and a variation of the normal Keine Hexerei label with a whisky barrel thrown in for good measure.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a sugary, sweet odor brimming with sharp licorice and alcohol. Potent, rich and with a sharp edge of alcohol, Brown sugar, raisins and plums. Salty licorice and toffee. Whisky and wood.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, viscous, a bit sticky, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet nd laden with alcohol. Lingering. Finish is a boozy kiss.
