The space is beautiful, with a chill vibe indoors, and a nice outside patio area that is dog friendly. Seedz is known for their lager game, and deservedly so. A fantastic selection, and their "slow pour" technique makes you feel like you're getting something special, which you are, IMHO. World class stuff here.

Worth the drive! This is a lager-focused brewery on the coast of Lake Michigan. On my visit I ended up striking up some nice conversations with the beertenders and fellow patrons. No samplers/tasters, although there's a good number of lower ABV selections. Good vibes all around, even better beer!

Had an hour to kill in Union Pier so I stopped in as they opened. They had a bottled KVASS style, which I was needed for my style list, so I was extremely happy. Good size parking lot. Lots of tables and a nice size bar. Interesting assortment of beers, all slow poured with massive heads. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm on the western side of the state.

Went on a nice autumn day in late November. Great lagers all around, plus a nice porter for good measure. Mliko pours, a TV in case of a "big game" (the World Cup, in this case) and a few too many dogs (two got in a barking match while I was there.
Overall, well worth a stop if you have even a passing interest in beer.

A buddy of mine recommended I stop here for some slow pour lagers, so I knew what I was in for (and was quite excited about it!). The fact that literally every single beer is slow poured--at least considering that I've never personally been anywhere else like this in my life--is a magnificent, if not laborious, feat in and of itself. That said, I can understand someone unfamiliar with the set up Seedz coming in and being a little miffed at the lack of flights. However, not being a flight guy myself, I was in my element.
What's cool is that, wherever you choose to sit, they bring your beer to you when it's ready, and it's well worth the wait. Lagers of all styles come out with massive meringue heads exhibiting a healthy flop and wobble while delivering excellent clarity and quality to the palate. They even offer mlĂko pours for those adventurous types, which can really showcase the wonderful quality of their foam, flowing with a consistency of freshly whipped cream yet going down beautifully silky smooth.
During the warm season, the fairly sizeable patio area will be hopping, even around opening on a Saturday. It's a little darker inside--likely to aid the large projector screen that was playing college football when we were there--but they are dog friendly inside and out, and the vibe is mellow. The interior basically consists of three very long communal tables, but only a few bar seats. If not for this particularly casual and sociable arrangement, the bar in particular almost has an upscale, modernly minimalistic cabin sort of vibe to it.
Seedz is a convenient pitstop on the road to the Chicago area from Northeast Ohio that I'll be sure to revisit again and again.

We stopped at this new brewery to try their beers. It's located along a busy county road among other spaced-out businesses. The pub is located in what looks like a remodeled dwelling, and two other structures are to the rear of the property (one is the brewhouse). A concrete patio is adjacent to the pub, and some tables have umbrellas. A bar with 8 seats is at the rear of the taproom, and a modest number of tables/chairs are spaced apart (COVID?). The vibe was okay, and the service was very good because they were not busy.
The beer list had 10 listings, plus 7 bottles/cans were also available. It looks like the brewery's beers tend toward Nordic, German and English styles along with a few American. We wanted to evaluate the beers overall for this review, BUT they do not offer sampler flights, nor do they offer a half pour. We still had a long drive home so we could only drink two standard pours, which doesn't allow for an accurate evaluation. We chose Keller Pills and the American Lager. The Pils was very good, but there was something unusual about the American lager that I couldn't figure out. It wasn't bad, but just didn't appeal to me. Maybe it used some obscure hops that I'm not familiar with? So the Quality rating attached to this review may provide an inaccurate measurement of the beers at this brewery. A note of interest: everything receives the 'slow-pour' treatment, so a nice fluffy head comes on top of every beer.
There is no food served here, although a few light snacks are available. Some bottles and cans are available for carry-out. The beer menu sounds so enticing that I have to revisit this place at a better time when I can try more of the beers, so I'll stop again when I'm in the area and the timing is right.
