Pint glass of this IPA enjoyed from the cask at Beechwood BBQ in Seal Beach, CA. in late February 2008.
Pours a light-moderate orange with a big fluffy head when first poured, with lots of stickage. This beer, in its aroma and flavor is all about floral and perfumy hops- an excellent choice to have on cask, as I imagine a standard tap version, served cold, would really lose a lot of flavor, and honestly, might seem pedestrian for the style. Moderate malt profile makes a solid base. Cellar temperate was a major contributer to this being very drinkable.
This is the first time I've had a Brewbakers beer, and I am favorably impressed!

On cask at the Beachwood BBQ,
A: Pours a light amber, with a full white cask head, and great sticky lacing, though it does look like it's going a bit overboard.
S: Great floral hop aroma, light grapefruit.
T: Very good flavour, full citrus, white grapefruit, bready malt, almost an esoteric floral hop flavour, kind of hard to describe, but really good.
M: Light but brisk carbonation makes this an easy drinking beer, medium-bodied, oily.
D: A really nice beer from the local Brewbakers, their 2 beers on cask that I have had have been really good.
