Served painfully cold. Had to warm it up with my hands for a moment while I watched the country dancers out on the floor. The bartender informs me this is his most popular house beer. I learn also that this batch, along with all the other Speakeasy beers, was brewed and kegged five months ago just before the brewmaster quit. In fact, the Speakeasy is not even presently set up for brewing and will need an investment of several thousand dollars before production resumes. (See revised Beerfly for details.)

It would be a travesty of the highest order if the Speakeasy doesn’t resume brewing and producing this beer. Simply put, it is a fabulous cream stout. It has a light mocha flavor, slightly sweet, but not overly so. All the physical properties of a nitro pour are present including a plush, velvet mouthfeel and a restrained aroma that echoes the taste.

This is sublimely drinkable. Goes down dangerously fast.

Ok second pint from this unknown Brewpub.
A really great looking stout, after the cascading has finished, looks like those perfect pints you used to see on Guiness posters, dark, dark almost completelly black beer with a marvelous looking creamy tan head, that lasted all the through this pint.
The aroma ,however, was average at best,,the nitro always affects this ..but it was pleasant.
Taste? ,Very luxuriant and creamy, milky tones, followed by dark chocolate and liquorice finishes off bitter.
Very nice and silky smooth on the palate.
Quite a drinkable stout, surpisingly well done.
