Though Im assured that this is not the same beer as the nitro cream stout, it bears a strong resemblance, minus the nitro. The taste is remarkably similar sweetly mocha-like. The aroma too, is comparably indiscernible.
This is a workable export stout with modest lace, a soft tan head, and a non-emphasized bitterness. The finish is also very clean.
But add a touch of lactose and some nitro and it would be impossible to tell this from Speakeasys Nitro Cream Stout.
