A simple session ale with a malt accent that bears a remarkable similarity to the taste of Speakeasys stouts. In fact, all Speakeasy ales may be characterized as being malty with only a modest showing of hops.
The Brown Ale is clear and undercarbonated with no head or lace and is modest in most regards. The (soon-to-be) new brewer informs me this is his favorite Speakeasy ale.
