Had on tap. Either very dark brown or light black shimmering opaque pour with a brown head. Aromas of boozy baker's chocolate, brown sugar, toasted caramel, earth, tobacco, and a whisper of dark berry. Taste is much the same, this style isn't very nuanced after all, but unlike so many eisbocks I have had, this never devolves into booze. Feel too, while warm it is balanced and sneaky smooth, lighter than it tastes. This is the best eisbock I have ever had!
