A new one-off (so far) from NJ's best brewery.
Light black/dark brown with a lot of ruby highlights. Three fingers of white-ish foam. As the growler goes on the head turns into a white lilly pad quicker wuith each glass.
Light aroma has elements of fresh bread, cereal, and a bit of roasted coffee.
Tastes a bit roasty in the middle, with a nice dose of noble hops around the edges. Clean finish. Nothing huge, very well integrated.
Mouthfeel is smooth and slick but still delightfully chewy.
Great drinkability. I forgot the abv but it certainly seems sessionable to me.
May the schwarzbier be with you.
