A large airy, clean space right across the street from the beach - hi-top tables, some bar seating, a couple of tables outside in the parking lot. Friendly servers, fast, efficient service. Maybe a dozen beers on tap in a handful of apparently random styles - none of them particularly good. But it’s right across the street from the beach.

 

As stated a non de-script sort of place next to Crabby Bills. Big open space right off the front door for tap room. Mellow crowd when we popped in-some families among them. Maybe 8pm-ish. Service was pretty quick, personable and friendly for sure. I commented how they were not IPA heavy and the guy laffed and said you should have been in here yesterday! Guess it is the ebb and flow. My brother had a very good porter, brother number 2 the light lager-for a Bud guy he said he could do 4/5 which is high praise. I had a very good helles, small pour of a pomegranate gose and a decent West Coast IPA. There was something for everyone pretty much. Nice place overall with a decent vibe. Good addition to the area and very walkable with the other restaurants etc around. No sidewalks-careful walking along the roadside that is a bit unnerving. I'd return for sure.

In a small strip mall just south of Crabby Bills. Its a 5 Barrel brewery right across from the beach on Gulf Blvd. It clean and industrial looking inside with bar to center right and brewery tanks viewable to the left. A dozen or so tables with no outdoor seating. 15 beers on tap with samplers and flight available, Lots of IPA/DIPA and lagers. But had stouts and sours. Overall; a clean pleasant place with nice sight lines of the tanks and brewery operations, also with great service a wide array of taps in different sizes. Worth a stop if on IRB or passing thru to others places on the barrier island.

Went on a laidback Sunday afternoon and enjoyed my time there. Has ample seating inside and out with a big screen that had on sports during my visit, and service is pretty quick and friendly so no complaints. Perhaps only drawback is that there are 16 taps but they seem to concentrate on IPAs and pale ales. If you're in the area this place is worth stopping by and kicking back for a couple hours.
