Hazy to cloudy dirty gold color. Modest head but it sticks around and provides a combination of blankets and streaks for lace.
Creamed corn comes to mind on the first smell of this beer.
Not as crisp or clean as the Cologne versions. This seems to be closer to a cream ale or a premium macro-lager. I get a bit of corn on the initial sip. There is some light hop to provide some counterpoint. Overall, kölsches are amongst my favorites but this one misses the mark.
