Fewer streak than other beers from here. The minor head settles to rim bubbles. Deep brown color where light only clears the edges.
The nose features a nice blend of darker toasted malts and floral hop.
Some semisweet chocolate to the initial sip. Leans to the richer side mouth-wise; the carbonation is on the low side. The chocolate remains throughout the tasting. There’s a small bump up in bitterness in the swallow with a touch of alcohol. Long aftertaste
