1487 Brewery

1487 Brewery is located on the outskirts of Columbus....on a road that houses more "warehousey" buildings and businesses.......and a half mile from a Costco and chain fast food joints....so the vibe is contradictory....the place itself is cool....has indoor seating with a large bar.....and then has plenty of outdoor seating with cool lights, fans/heaters.....just the location is a bit out of the way. The beer is good....food is better. The service at the bar is fine....but if you're sitting and want food or beer....you order through an app that steals the human element....IMHO. So it's hard to rate the service.....when it feels robotic. The selection of beers leans german style....there are a few ipas to consider. The food I thought was very good.....the tots were crisp'ed to perfection.
