12oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Murky, medium amber colored body. Two fingers of off white colored head which quickly falls back to an interrupted cap and full ring. Leaves behind short lacing strings.
Aroma is berry fruity, with blueberry, raspberry, and huckleberry. Sweet with a little tartness.
Taste is very tart, with a following sweetness. Berry flavors of blueberry, huckleberry, and raspberry. Also includes a lemon tartness. Aftertaste trails off quickly, leaving some berry residual.
Initially more than medium mouthfeel, but quickly the tartness leads to a tooth scraping effect. At the very end of the profile there is a touch of huckleberry bitterness. Dry finish. Good carbonation.
More tart than many current kettle sours but quite thirst quenching. Strong berry nose and flavors.
