Heart Trail is a seasonally evolving hoppy ale. For this iteration, we brewed a hearty DIPA with a hefty amount of malted rye paired with Citra, Ekuanot, and Southern Queen hops. The aroma is bursting with ripe fruit, including cantaloupe, apricot, and mixed berries. A fruit-forward flavor is complemented by a spicy, white pepper character from the rye malt and a toasted malt backbone. Heart Trail Autumn finished with a luscious body and moderate bitterness.

A: Pours a hazy/muddy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves decent lacing
S: Berry, melon, and stone fruit up front along with some citrus and tropical fruit
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the berry and melon then picks up some citrus, stone fruit, and some spicy rye/white pepper. Finishes with lingering stone fruit and spicy notes
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the softer side
O: A very good seasonal NE DIPA that is super easy to drink. Definitely worth checking out
