The Fortitude, modeled after West Coast Style IPAs, appears crystal clear with a burnt gold color. While receiving the same dry hop treatment as its counterpart, The Fortitude’s aroma highlights pine sap, potpourri, and dark fruit (plum), while finishing drier and with a pleasant, pronounced bitterness.

No can date
Pours a foamy 1 finger head with good retention, sticky lacing, mostly clear honey blonde orange color
Nose nice fresh hops, a bit of citrus, pine and earthy forest notes, a bit of resin and pith, a bit of generic fruit, tree fruit and a bit of stone fruit, light malt
Taste brings more of the fresh hops, pine and a bit of resin, getting mild spicy and earthy, some citrus more like orange peel oil, pithy, hint of a stone fruit almost unripe apricot, med bitterness up front, then finishes a bit dry with higher spicy pithy resinous hop bitterness lingering
Mouth is med bod, higher frothy carb
Overall not bad, decent West Coast style IPA, but again nothing too special more middle of the road
