Pours a fizzy foamy 2 finger tan head with fair retention, larger bubbles popping, no lacing, hazy copper slight auburn color
Nose starts right up front with coffee and sweet maple, a bit like Jamaican Me Crazy, nutty brown toasted malts, biscuity, a little caramel toffee, mild roasted coffee
Taste brings more of the maple and coffee, light roasted coffee, maple sugar, a bit of toffee, fair nutty brown toasted malts, toasted sweet bread, biscuity, touch of bitterness, fair sweetness throughout, drier finish
Mouth is med bod, a bit soft, med frothy carb
Overall OK, the base brown ale seems pretty good, maple overpowers it a bit, coffee was decent, def would have liked it more if the maple was toned down a notch or two
