Poured from a .5l bottle into a 20oz imperial pint. Thanks to Iain for the hook up!
A: Pours a clear, dark gold color. One finger head that recedes quickly to reveal a faint skim, unbreakable ring, and a minimal amount of whispy lace.
S: Toasted malt, bread, and a touch of tart green apple.
T: Toasted malt at the forefront. Delicious toasted home-baked bread flavors. Very restrained fruitiness and a tidy hop bite at the finish.
M: Prickly at first due to colder temps and active carbonation. As it warms and the carbonation dies off it takes on a creamy characteristic. Interesting graininess. Also noted is a subtle spiciness on the tongue at the finish.
D: Very enjoyable. Incredibly clean and very flavorful. Too bad it's not available in the states.
