Chipstein Didn’t Brew Himself

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark amber with ecru ring head that did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle sweet chocolate malt and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with light semi sweet chocolate malt base with subtle toffee presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
