Here's another beer I had at the DIPA festival in February 2023. Here I am, the first one to review the beer, all the way in October 2023. Down bad.
Pours golden, ample clarity, thinnish 1/4" white head. Quite the medley, like 4 proprietary hops as I recall. Strata, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Mosaic cryo. Whoops. 3 proprietary hops, or not, is the cryo mode trademarked or whatnot? Who cares. Smells like the good stuff. Weed, strawberry, blueberry, pine. Not cat piss Simcoe.
The taste is well done, you get the layered hop flavors, goes mostly tropical and weed, then hits with some pine and berries. Easy simple grain bill, 2 row, pale it seems. Makes 8 and half plenty crushable. Feel somewhat off reviewing these, there's so many very good and very similar beers at these festivals. And yet still some stand out for better and for worse. Simcoe also gives the mouth feel that nice crisp bitter bite I'm looking for without being excessive nor without its own accompanying flavor.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
