Core sour with more wheat and oats, to give it more body, along with a higher abv. Key lime and sweet cherry puree were added to give more flavor, then dry hopped with more Idaho Gem to really make that cherry pop!

A- The coloration is of a hazed orange-red hue, with copper background notes. The head starts off about two solid fingers in thickness, before settling quickly into a soapy like layer over top the brew, and showing off aggressive carbonation....color of the foam is a slightly pink tone blended into the mainly off white shade of snow. The lacing is quite muted with only a couple of small foamy patches clinging to the inside of my glass. Overall not a bad looking brew!
S- There is a definite fruity aroma about this, with the obvious cherry and key lime being the dominant smells....the cherry is sweet on the nose, while there is a balancing limey citrus tartness about it. Underlying dryer oat and grassy wheat malts are noted, along with a soft key lime tart dessert finish.....perhaps a soft hop bitterness too.
T- Well this is quite the mouth puckering tart lime sour! There are big flavors of key lime sourness, balanced somewhat by cherries, however, I wouldn't call it a sweet cherry....plenty of acidity to go around for sure. There is some creaminess in the form of wheat and oat malt used, also providing some grassy/grainy dryness and the finish is clean, tart and just with a hint of leafy hop bitterness. Flavorful indeed!
M/O- Creamy mouthfeel, solid medium body and the carbonation, while it appeared to be aggressive, is actually quite soft on the palate, yet it is plentiful. Do I find this to be drinkable, yes I do, but I don't think it is something I can personally enjoy more than a sitting of without wanting to move on. I think it would pair quite well with something of medium to high spice and would recommend anyone to try this in the can, or as I have also had, on tap at the brewery!
